Departments
Overview
Departments are used to define the departments in the company. You can create departments and assign them to users.
Departments types:
- Office - this department is used for office departments (for example, HR, finance, etc.)
- Warehouse - this department is used for warehouse departments (for example, warehouse, production, etc.)
- Support - this department is used for support departments (for support tickets)
- Store - this department is used for store departments (for example, store, shop, etc.)
- Sales - this department is used for sales departments (for example, sales, marketing, etc.)
- Other - this department is used for other departments that are not covered by the above types
Departments list
You can access the departments list by clicking on the "Departments" button in the main admin menu.
Create department
To add a new department, click on the "Add department" button in the top right corner of the department list.
There is option to set longitudes and latitudes for the department. This is used for the map view of the departments. You can use "Get my location" button to get your current location.
Fill in the department details and click on the "Save" button to save the department.
Department details
To view details of a department, double-click on the department in the department list.
You can see the department users and edit the department details.
Edit department
To edit a department, click on the "Edit" button in the department details view.
Delete department
To delete a department, click on the "Delete" button in the department details view. If you delete the department, it will be removed from the system.
When you delete a department, all users that have this department will lose it.
