Currencies

Overview

Currencies are used to define the currencies that are used in the application. You can use multiple currencies in the application and set the default currency. Each currency has a name, symbol, and exchange rate.

You can set the default currency in the system settings. Default currency has exchange rate 1.

Currencies list

You can access the currencies list by clicking on the "Settings" button in the main admin menu and then on the "Currencies" button.

The default currency is marked with a lock icon.

Create a new currency

You can create a new currency by clicking on the "New currency" button from the overview of all currencies.

The new currency you can select from dropdown list of available currencies. You can also set the exchange rate. The exchange rate is used to convert the currency to the default currency.

All fields will automatically be filled in based on the selected currency. You can change the format settings (number of decimal places, decimal separator, and thousands separator) and the exchange rate.

Edit currency

To edit a currency, double-click on the currency you want to edit in the currency table.

You can change format settings (number of decimal places, decimal separator, and thousands separator) and the exchange rate.

Delete currency

To delete a currency, double-click on the currency you want to delete in the currency table and in the dialogue that opens, click on the "Delete" button bottom left. If you delete the currency, it will be removed from the system.
